Recently, Franklin County High School had three of its talented students participating at the ACDA National Honor Choir 2025, held from March 19-22nd in Dallas Texas. The event brought together some of the most gifted high school singers from across the nation, showcasing their exceptional skills and dedication to choral music.
Among the select group of participants were Kenzie Rose (S2), Jimmy Webb (T1), and Joey Webb (T1), who earned their spots through a rigorous selection process. With over 2000 submissions nationwide, only 300 students were chosen to participate in this esteemed choir.
The ACDA National Honor Choir provided a unique opportunity for young singers to perform under the guidance of renowned conductors and educators. The event included long rehearsals, inspiring performances, and various activities designed to foster a love for choral music and encourage artistic growth.
Participants not only had the chance to refine their vocal techniques but also to connect with fellow musicians from diverse backgrounds, creating lasting friendships and professional networks. The ACDA National Honor Choir was more than just a performance; it was a celebration of the dedication, passion, and talent of these young artists.
We here at Franklin County Schools are SO proud of Kenzie Rose, Jimmy Webb, and Joey Webb for their outstanding achievements and representation of our community at this prestigious event. A special shoutout goes to FCHS Director Raye Hurley, whose dedication and guidance have been instrumental in nurturing the talents of these young singers and helping them reach this remarkable milestone.
