Food Services

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Franklin County Schools will be participating in the Seamless Summer Option of the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, ALL Franklin County Schools will offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to ALL enrolled students for the 2021-2022 school year.

However, to determine eligibility to receive additional benefits for your child(ren) you will need to complete an Educational Benefits Form (for elementary and middle age children) and/or a Free and Reduced Form (for high school age children).
