Algebra 1, Data and Measurement, and Algebra 2
Ball State University- Bachelor’s of Business Education, Minor in Mathematics
I have taught for 7 years, three years at New Albany High School, one year at
Corydon Central High School, and three years at Western Hills High School.
The part that I enjoy teaching the most is factoring. I enjoy this because of
how similar it is to solving a puzzle. With factoring you know what it is
suppose to look like when everything is all said and done. It is just find the
right pieces and putting them in the correct places. As for teaching I enjoy it
is because it is one of the hardest things to do, teaching brightens up your
day.
I grew up in Muncie, Indiana where I went to Muncie Central High School. Muncie
Central’s claim to fame is that in the movie Hoosiers they are the real team
that loses at the end. Muncie Central has also won more boys’ basketball state
championships than any other school in Indiana. Muncie hosted the canceled
reality show Armed and Famous.
I really enjoy US history and traveling to other states to learn what it use to
be like. So far I have been to 38 out of the 50 states.
