 YSC News and Events

Tobacco Education Group

TEG- Tobacco Education Group will be held on Wednesdays during the month of February.  We will meet from 3:30-4:30 in the YSC, beginning 2/3.  A health department representative will be leading this group.  Any student who currently uses tobacco products and who wants to quit, is eligible to participate. GEMS- (Girls Gaining Ground through Empowerment, Mentoring, and Strong Leadershipwill meet every Monday for the remainder of the school year.  This group will begin January 25th.  We will meet 3:30-4:30 in the YSC.  A Girl Scout supervisor and I will be leading this group.  A group of girls were actually inspired to start this group as a result of The Seven Project assembly we had in November.
